New Years Resolution

I know I haven't written a blog since October but I've been so busy so now I'm finding the time again to write more. So with 2014 closely on the horizon, the main thing going through everyones minds is what are my new years resolutions going to be? So here's a few ideas that I've found and some of my personal favourites which I think would be great to try. Accomplishing them is a whole different story. Enjoy!

1. Get a photo taken in five interesting places

2. Take up a new hobby

3. Break a record

4. Learn something you never learned as a child

5. Try a new food each week

6. Each month take some time out to do something for others - whether its giving money to charity or helping an old lady across the road!

7. Quit smoking or drinking

8. Try and learn a new language

9. Buy a piggy bank and save something each week to treat yourself at the end of next year

10. Take a trip of a lifetime

11. Lose Weight

12. Spend more time with family and friends

13. At the end of everyday, look back at what you did and write down in a journal what made you smile - quotes are always good to collect then look back on when your feeling down.

14. This is great for everyone - Get organized and aim high

15. Sack stress and kick its butt out the door!

Hope you try something - even if its not a main resolution its just a bit of fun. Hope you all have a fab new year! Let me know if you try anything by tweeting and following me on twitter @Emily_Greaves and follow me on instagram emilygreaves1996. Talk soon!

My Beauty Tips

There is nothing better than stealing everyone else's beauty and fashion tips, so luckily for you I'm handing them to you on a not so silver and not such a platter - silver platter. Enjoy!

Number 1: Sudocrem
I have said this before and I'll say it again, using it at night over your spots and you'll suddenly find that they have almost disappeared by morning. Its great for teenagers who suffer from acne and even people who suffer from the odd breakout. Use this method along side a good regular face wash and cleanser for you ladies!

Number 2: Conditioner
You're probably thinking that that's obvious but I'm not talking about using it for your hair! Ever ran out of leg shaving cream, well use hair conditioner instead as it nourishes the skin and the razor glides over with easy taking all the hairs with it ;)

Number 3: Sellotape
Whenever its a big night out and you want to get your eyeshadow and eyeliner just right with an amazing sharp line. But use a piece of sellotape or masking tape under the edge of your eye leading up the eyebrow and hair line, do your makeup and then peel away! SHARP!
Number 4: Clear Mascara
I love using clear mascara when I'm on holiday to make my eye lashes look reasonable but when its windy and your eyebrows always get blown around your face, keep them in place buy brushing through clear mascara alongside your normal eyebrow colour in. They wont move.

Number 5: Disappearing perfume
I always spray on my perfume all over and then before I know it it's gone! Try spraying it in your hair, on the backs of your knees or in the crook of your elbow as these are the places that will waft more, therefore making you smell beautiful!

Number 6: Cakey Facey
I hate seeing makeup that's obviously caked on so when I've finished my makeup I always spritz it with a little bit of water and it adds a slight dewy glow to the skin and making you look more natural.

Number 7: Streaky Fake Tan
No one likes to walk around with streaks, so whenever you apply ANY type of fake tan (including those that are moisturised) apply a moisturiser first to wet the skin and make an easy surface for the tan to glide one and therefore eliminating the possibility of streaks!

Number 8: No Nose Job for me!
I am very self-conscious about my nose so to give the illusion its slimmer get a small powder brush, dab in a medium coloured bronzer and brush it over both sides of the nose and leave the middle clear!

Number 9: Artificial Sunkissed-ness
Use your real foundation colour in the centre of your face and then render out to a shade darker out towards your hairline and down the neck.
Purple is your natural shade and orange is a shade darker.
Number 10:Wide Eyes
If you find you have slim eyes, don't apply any mascara to your bottom lashes and leave them bare as mascara would give the illusion that your eyes are small and add white eye liner to your water line to elongate out the white part of your eye making them bigger!

Fighting Fitness

So this is the first time I have written about fitness, but there's always a first for everything. (Just to clarify I am not a fitness professional and these tips I have found from the internet and I found that they do work for me but may not for everyone) :)

Work Out
WARM UP
Even though its boring and may seem like it doesn't work but it actually does and its there for a reason!
LEGS
1. 50 Jumping Jacks
2. Lunges
3. 10 Side Lunges on each leg
4. 40 Calf Raises (use the bottom of the stairs/ I do)
5. 10 Plie Squats
6. Squat Jumps

ABS/ARMS
1. 20 Crunches
2. 40 Mountain Climbs
3. 30 Second Plank
4. 5 Pushups (I fail to do that all the time so give up)
5. 10 Sits Ups (always get half way then slam to the floor again - Gravities Fault! ;))
6. 40 Second Plank
7. 25 Jumping Jacks

So I found this very useful when trying to keep fit along side my daily 5 mile walk to and from school, but I only usually concentrate on my legs and ditch the abs/arms section oops - never mind!

"These Boots are Made for Walking"

Judging by the name of this post you'll get a pretty good indication of what this post is about! BOOTS! Seeing as Autumn has officially started I thought I would look at the new season trends for boot fashion of 2013. So lets KICK this thing off - see what I did there ha...

Quality Quilts:
Inexpensive Choice - River Island Black Quilted Welly Boots (£40)
These are perfect for the cold months and snow season and can really be dressed up or down. You're probably wondering what makes them dressy but the glossy finish ass real dress up value but are great to wear casual with your favourite jeans. Also, even though festival season has ended, whose to say the muddy garden parties have ended!

2. Chic Chelsea Boots
Even if you can't afford the London Chelsea Postcode status you can afford the fashionista status with these Elastic Chelsea Boots. This design from Topshop ALITE Elastic Chelsea Boots (£65) comes in black and brown so if you cant decide which you like best... you can buy both! :) The elastic at the top makes them comfortable and keeps the nippy air out too, but they are ultra feminine and I love that they're not bulky. And they're leather!

3. Kool Kiboots
If like me your at first like what on Earth are Kiboots, well Kiboots were first launched in 2010 made from original kilim rugs and you can find the real deals on Kiboots.com and are now the new 'IT' boot! They're so eye catching and looking so great with pretty much any colour denim! I love these Kiboots as the pink rug detail is subtle and doesn't drag too much attention away from the original boot! ($199.50)
So I hope this short post helps you make a good decision on what boots are out and about this season! Hope you enjoyed! Follow me on twitter to find out more information on future posts (@Emily_Greaves). Thanks again, Love Emily x

Go To Autumn Nails

Whenever its the changing of the seasons, I not only change around my whole wardrobe but I also change around my nail colours! I like to not only wear colours that suit my mood but also what colours are perfect for that time of year. Seeing as Autumn is just on the next page (not literally :)), I thought I would let you know what colours I most like to wear in autumn!

Kicking it all off with my current nail colour is the No7 Stay Perfect Nail Colour in the gorgeous colour Damson Dream (love the name!). I find this colour perfect to break into the Autumn mood. I've also added a little tear drop lilac gem to the ring finger to add a bit of detail.
Next, if I'm going to a party or out to a Christmas party or a birthday celebration I like to glam my outfit up with Revlon's Sparkly Polish in the shade Facets if Fuchsia (095) but (Top Tip) if you use a sequined/sparkly varnish use the same colour polish as a base coat and then apply the sparkles else there isn't a base colour for the sparkles o sit on but natural nail and it looks rubbish!

As said above, whenever I use the sparkly nail varnish I use my No7 Stay Perfect Nail Colour in the shade Vivid Violet as the colour base and then apply the Revlon polish over the top.
But if you don't always like wearing darker colours through the Autumn time why not dare to be different and wear a dark pink and a radiant red polish. These colours can really bring an outfit together and can definitely draw attention in any room when its Autumn! I use Seventeen's mini polishes, but unfortunately I don't know the names of the colours as they aren't featured on the bottles and I won them in a raffle :( But the pictures should help!

Top Tips:
Every girl has that problem when as soon as you put on a new nail varnish, within days its chipped and you've picked it off during a really boring lesson at school - am I right? So my top tips are:
1. Use nail varnish remover over the nail before to remove oils and previous polishes
2. Give you hands a good wash with soap and concentrate on the nails - durrr...
3. Apply a good base coat but only very thinly
4. Apply at least two coats of your varnish
5. Wait for it to dry, then apply two top clear top coats for protection
(I use the amazing Sally Hansen Double Duty Base & Top Coat - High recommend!)

So thanks for ready again and I hope this post can give you some inspiration on what nail colours to use and I hope the top tips provide advice and I hope hey work too! If you want to learn anymore about up coming blog posts follow me on twitter (@Emily_Greaves) and on Instagram (emilygreaves1996), thanks again love Emily x

Autumn/Winter Wardrobe Essentials

Hi,
Autumn has officially started but the weather doesn't seem to be going with it yet (lets not speak to soon!). But now is just the right time to gather together all your last season clothes and see what's wearable and see what needs to be on the shopping list. Today this post will give you hints on what should be on the top of that ever growing list, but these are definitely must haves! Lets begin...

1. Trench Coat
Whenever I go trench coat shopping I like something that's fashionable yet keeps me dry when English weather takes over. This Mango light camel coat is perfect as its long and keeps the tops of your legs dry as well as your body. The colour gorgeous and the fit is great! With a trench coat they can look a bit 'granny-fide' so I like to match it with a coral scarf and tying the waist belt in a knot instead of buckling it up! It also draws attention to the waist.

Mango Puffed Shoulder Cotton Trench Coat (£69.99) also available in Navy
2. Black Jacket
I absolutely love my black leather jacket for the pure reason that its simple, stylish and very multi-wearable (if that's a word?). You can dress it up, dress it down, and there so simple. At the moment Biker jackets are very in trend which is an amazing win. If your scared about the price of a good leather jacket you can just think of it as an invest (which is what I do with pretty much everything I buy ha!) or you can go for a faux leather jacket without the expensive price tag and still have that great biker edgy look!

3. Basic Black Jeans
You can never start Autumn/Winter without a pair of black jeans. if you don't own a pair already... BUY A PAIR! There super simple and blacks always a winning colour for all ages and shapes! I love to go super skinny cause I can wear them with absolutely everything e.g. boots and flats.
TOP TIP: When trying on denim of any kind if there tight, they fit, denim wears in after a few wears and washes!

4. Blue Jeans
Same as the black ones! Amazing and great to wear with brown and you definitely cant go wrong with pairing these jeans with your favourite UGGs!
5. Cream Jumper
Simple cream jumpers are amazing. You can wear with absolutely any colour - as long as it doesn't go with the food you might happen to spill down! ;) Mega soft and comfy so get yours! If you pair it with black jeans (shown above) you can accessories it with great rose gold jewellery or if you pair it with navy jeans (shown above) try yellow gold jewellery as accessories to add some colour variation and shine!

6. Black Leather Boots
Whenever its winter I always love to go for long black leather boots are they are sooooooo durable its actually unbelievable. They last for absolutely ages when they are leather and they are very comfy - when you've bed them in off cause, because when I bought my black leather boots from Dune last year I had them for a long time before they stopped giving me blisters. But now that they stop giving me blisters its like having clouds on your feet and for a plus they keep the snow away as well!

Accessories -
What's winter without WOOL! To go with your new black leather jacket pair it with a basic cream beanie! Simple!

And to go with the cream jumper shown above you can put on this amazing necklace and be on your way out!

So that's the end of all the Autumn/Winter Wardrobe Essentials you need this year. I hope you enjoyed reading what seems like my longest blog post yet and I hope it helps you make some very important wardrobe decisions for 2013! If you want to stay posted on further blog posts go and follow me on twitter @Emily_Greaves and thanks for ready! Love Emily x

Teen Choice Awards 2013 Fashion

So yesterday was the Teen Choice Awards 2013. Even though I tried to stay up and watch it, I pretty much failed as my live stream went offline... I was not happy ha. But when I woke up this morning I couldn't help catching up on what had happened and what all the celebs were wearing! Many in my opinion look absolutely amazing but however not all of them did.
(p.s with the following comments and descriptions, these are completely of my own opinion and I don't want to offend anyone but if I do, I apologise.)

Demi Lovato:
As always Demi Lovato looks amazing, wearing a black feature blazer, leather trousers, and white top. Sounds simple but when it's Demi whose wearing it, it couldn't be more rock chic if it tried. Even though it is very black for such a summery awards show, she definitely pulls it off!
Selena Gomez:
I'm not the biggest fan of green, but I'm definitely a fan of this figure hugging panel slit midi-dress. I love the slits down both sides instead of one as it makes you look 10x for slimmer than you actually are and if you've got fabulously tanned legs after your summer holiday, this is one hell of a way to flaunt them!

Holland Roden:
Even though I had never heard or seen Holland Roden, after yesterdays Blue Carpet appearance I will definitely be doing my reading as she looked beautiful in this yellow lace peplum sun dress. The peplum nips in the waist and the sunshine yellow makes you look less washed out if your fair skinned. The lace is very feminine and the red lip stick adds attitude to the whole look - very well done Holland!

3 Hates

Naya Rivera:
I love Naya Rivera for her amazing beauty and figure, and yes I know double leathers all the thing now but it kind of looks like she forget to get an outfit and made a crop top and trousers from a black bin bag. Its a no from me Naya but I still love you hair and makeup.
Hana Mae Lee:
All I say to this is that it looks like she's trying to steal Lady Gaga's image and its going very well. Who wears a head dress saying "I am a Man" by choice - just NO!

Chloe Grace Moretz:
This dress is perfect for Chloe's age, it doesn't do her figure any justice what so ever. I would have followed in Holland Roden's path and gone for a light colour maybe even a neon coral to match her age and her skin tone.

Hope you enjoyed watching the TCA 2013 and I hope my analysis of these womens' trends and gave you ideas about what you should be wearing to suit what you have been born with. Shine Bright Like A Diamond

Hi, sorry I haven't posted in 5 days or so, I have been kinda busy.

So the theme of this post is of course every girls best friend - the shine factor!
Following the statement jewellery trend of Summer, I want to carry it on through Autumn/Winter and the trends are doing just that! After extensive magazine reading and internet searching (shopping really...) I have found what can make any normal outfit pop - and its going off with a BANG.

Trend 1: Pearl Perfection
Considering I absolutely hate fish, I don't seem to find Pearls that shabby ha. Not only are pearls mega ladylike they can be mixed with practically any colour in the rainbow and there beautiful. You definitely can't get anymore classic than a pearl (or two, or three, or thirty!). Over the past few years they have been many celebrities go to pieces and there forever evolving in style.
I recently went to Majorca for my summer holiday and that's when I bought this necklace.
Trend 2: It's a Bugs Life
So I found it incredibly weird when the runways starting styling a pair of crocodile earrings but not only do they stick out, they stick out for being amazing! And the best thing out them is that they're not expensive, especially if you hunt them down in your Safari, especially New Look and Boohoo. If you find a piece with amazing colour, shape, and shine, they're going to look double the price too! My favourite so far is the Pull&Bear Bug Necklace that's just £9.99!
Trend 3: Arm Cuffs
That's right who wants to wear wrist wear on their wrists (obviously), why not transfer it all the way up to above the elbow like an Egypt farrow of the 21st century. Now with a serious face on they look amazing. They'd not only add great structure to your arms but they actually look really nice and modern. Top tip: if you wear a plain colour dress like a classic LBD, wear a patterned Cuff to add texture and feature, however if your wearing a patterned dress wear something that's plain else you'll be drawing too much attention to the dress and the cuff and its a bit OTT.
Asos Made Nyoko Swirl Arm Cuff (£20)

So I hope you've enjoyed reading my blog again, thanks for reading, make  sure you follow me on twitter @Emily_Greaves to be kept posted on further posts, thanks again love Emily x

My Fashion Inspiration

My fashion inspiration and style steal has come from a variety of women - Kate Middleton, Miranda Kerr, and Mollie King. I love that they are feminine and very lady like and they always wear clothes that are in style and not too over the top in style to make you stick out from a crowd like a sore thumb.

The Duchess of Cambridge:
Firstly, you can't beat the Duchess of Cambridge's evening/occasion wear. Besides the fact she's beautiful and has an amazing figure, she actually wears clothes that are from the high street - how great is that. This is because it means we can easily steal her style by imitating what she wears or by actually buying the piece that she wears (if you can get them, as they sell like hot cakes!). She always wears dresses that are figure hugging and beautiful.

Miranda Kerr:
Not only does she have time to juggle her family life, she also has time to juggle a career and also time to look amazing! I love Miranda's style as she mixes everyday jeans with amazing tops that make an outfit go from "lazy day" to "hello world".

Mollie King:
I love the way Mollie from The Saturdays has great style which can go from a dressy day out shopping to a Saturday night, which I adore as I love wearing nice dressy clothes that are really girly and Mollie does it fantastically! Mollie also wears a lot of belts to accessories outfits to add detail and femininity and I also wear a LOT of belts.
Hope you gain some kind of help from this post and maybe an understanding of me! Leave any comments with YOUR tips and I will have to try them out. Follow me on twitter @Emily_Greaves, thank you, love Emily x

Fashion Trends A/W13

It's that time of year again, you just get back from you lovely summer break and then you're in the summer mood to shop and its all Autumn/Winter Collections which puts a huge downer on everything. You can still do that great summer shopping trip and still buy Autumn clothes that can still be worn in the summer - you just have to use your skills - COLOUR! - Easy.

Trend No.1: Typical Wooly...
Mango Spanish Fashion Store (Mango) has been advertising their Autumn/Winter range like no tomorrow, with their new face Miranda Kerr modelling. Mango's casual knit Cardigan has initiatively been advertised with a floral spaghetti strap dress to keep that summer smile on your face. This has been paired with great black brogue studded shoes.

Everyone's got a typical crochet jumper that their granny loves and maybe you not so much, but why not throw it on under a tulip skirt or 3/4 jersey pencil skirt if its slouchy or if its tight fitting tuck it under a waist school skirt. Add some accessories so its not so winter school girl look and head on out!

Trend No.2: Teasing Tees
A mischievous item has to be an essential in every girls wardrobe this Autumn as their setting the High Street on FIRE! The High streets exploding with parody t-shirts of some of the worlds top designers - Jimmy Choo and Yves Saint Laurent. The tees are sending peoples minds and instagram accounts crazy with excitement. You can find them anywhere from Selfridges on Oxford Street, London to Amazon.co.uk for as little as £9.99 (below) - available in loads of different colours too.
By far my favourite "Ain't Laurent without Yves" by TeeIsland at Amazon
Trend No.3: Cat Powers Back
Yes that's right leopard prints are back and their flying off the shelves. But hang on a minute - their not light brown and black - their HOT... Leopard prints are making a comeback from the old Barbara Winsor Fur jacket and their taking no survivors. You can dress them up and down as much as you want all year round. Almost any style can suit any shape as long as its worn right.
Top Tip -
Skinny Frame - Small Print
Bigger Build - Larger Print
Short Legs - Short Waist Skirt
Long Legs - Long Waist Skirt
Autumn/Winter - Red and Black
Spring/Summer - Pink and White
Thin Legs - Denim Leopard Shorts (tight fit)
Large Legs - Floated Shorts or playsuit
Straight Down Dresses - Add a belt to nip in the waist
Small print - add small/big belt and big bag you will appear smaller

Hope these top 3 trends have given you some help when making that transition from Summer to Autumn. Follow me on twitter to hear about some style ideas, learn more about me and to hear about up coming posts - twitter - thanks again, love Emily x

My July Favourites

So July is perfect for all those summer treats that you have been waiting 11 months for to buy. Over the last 31 days I have been loving the following products, check them below...

Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25 hr Foundation:
As we all know, foundation is the worst product to think of when your getting that summer tan. Well fret no more, even though I've been loving this product I haven't been wearing it all that much. But when I do wear it - it doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything at all. I hate wearing foundation when I have a tan, but I applied this to my chin and T zone in the evening and it dealt with that sweaty glow you always get on holiday. I love it! (Compare: I've previously had the Rimmel London Wake Me Up Foundation which everyone raves out but it just 'blew' off my face whereas the Lasting Finish didn't - very pleased).
Max Factor PanStik Foundation:
Even though this is a foundation, I love using it as a concealer as it lasts for a very long time and provides amazing coverage and acts exactly the same as a concealer. I find it glides onto the skin easily and silkily and I love it :)
Max Factor Wild Mega Volume Mascara:
I've previously used L'Oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes Mascara and I absolutely love it, but I find it way too expensive to use everyday so I needed a good everyday replacement - and I have found it. This Wild Mega Volume Mascara by Max Factor is just £4.99 (offer) makes great effortless long lashes that stay put all day. However, they do clump up if you use too much, due to the shape of the brush but can easy be combed out with a eyelash comb.
L'Oreal Paris Super Liner Black Lacquer Liquid Eyeliner:
I've always been a fan of the little bottles of eye liner and not the pens as they glide on to the eye easily - but you do need a steady hand else you'll be saying every word in the dictionary when you go wrong. This eyeliner is super stay and doesn't move anywhere. It dries on really quick so no smudges suddenly appear when your touching up. The applicator isn't made up of bristles so it doesn't create numerous lines over the eyelid as they've broken up, this applicator is made up of a structured sponge which soaks up the liquid and glides on to the eyelid - EASY! (Definite Must Have Of The Month)
(Image: chuchuchan.blogspot.com)
Garnier Body Intensive 7 Days Hydrating Lotion with L-Bifidus:
I used to be a pain for not putting moisturiser on and since buying this moisturising I have suddenly become the worst for putting it on. It's fast absorbing so you don't have to wait round for hours like a scare crow waiting for it to dry before you get dressed. It lasts a long time so you can go from office to dinner without re-application, which is amazing! You can see real differences straight away!
Hope you like my July Favourites just as much as I do, and make sure you give them a try. Comment below if you have any July Favourites that you wish to share and recommend and I'll give them a go! Thanks for reading, make sure to follow me on twitter @Emily_Greaves, love Emily x

Comparison and Review: Tresemme and Mark Hill: Heat Protection Spray

Comparison:
So is it worth spending a little bit more for the well known products... In some cases YES.
After going through 2 bottles of the TRESemme Heat Defence Spray - I'm bored. Don't get me wrong TRESemme products are great ( I use their salon sized -1.3L - luxurious moisture shampoo and conditioner), but there is definitely better out there without having to book a meeting with your bank to request extra notes for a "small investment". So I've turned my eyes to the very stylish Mark Hill range (leopard print bottles people!!).
If you tend to use electrical heat instruments that excel in extreme heat, Mark Hill's Turn up the Heat: Extreme Heat Protection Spray can protect hair for up to 235'c, whereas TRESemme Heat Defence Spray can only protect up to 230'c ( only 5 degrees difference but hey you never know!)

TRESemme:
This Heat Defence Spray smells amazing as it has a real upmarket salon scent to it, which I love. But after months of using everyday it has finally decided to work and show signs of protection in my hair. Even though I did have sin worthy hair ends (sorry hair police...) I've only just noticed that their getting better. Whether this is because I haven't been using enough or my hair reacts differently, I don't know. One word for TRESemme's Heat Defence Spray - Average!

Mark Hill:
After using this for a short while, you can really tell the difference. I find it softens the ends of the hair and repairs crisp horrible ends and protecting them at the same time. After apply numerous amounts of heat and damage to the hair through the day, it still manages to feel soft, instead of a straw-like texture. It has a really nice perfumed smell to it, so if your shampoo and conditioner isn't highly scented, this 'Turn up the Heat: Extreme Heat Protection Spray' will waft a summer puff into someone's face (longing as you wave your hair around enough!).
Thanks, hope it helps again, follow me on twitter (@Emily_Greaves),
Watch this space for tomorrow's July Favourites Post, love Emily xxx

This Is Us - #1DBestFriendEver

Along with the millions of others, I am of course a Directioner (NO SHAME), which means I am franticly awaiting the arrival of the 1D3D movie which is out on the 30th August. To involve the huge fandom, 1D3D:This is Us Twitter page announced a competition that involves best friends making small videos about their friendship and their day to day life.

Even though this video doesn't have me in it, it has two of my best friends in it and I want to support them with getting as many views as possible.

Every teenagers dreaded word: SKINCARE

Hi,
So lets all confess that we all actually hate our skin... (99.9% true), and we all want that supermodel glow like Miranda Kerr and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, or for the males out there Zac Efron. But fret no more, I have an easy and cheap way that can help with that bad skin day.

So the first thing you need to do is figure out what skin type you are and find products that suit your type. For example, if you have oily skin go for products that have no excess oils and combat the degree of oils being produced by the pores without blocking them. But if you have dry to normal skin a good thing to do is find products that hydrate the surface of the skin as well as add moisture to the pores.
Secondly, CARE for your skin, it doesn't always look after its self and a facial wash doesn't cover everything. My all time tip for reducing spots and blemishes is to use Sudocrem on any areas over night time - even though it can leave the skin with a horrible dewy glow, but that's what a showers for!
Ladies... I know its literally impossible to leave the door without 'your face on' but go easy on the make-up you can still look good without the cakeiness. Try using primers and moisturisers to prep the skin and always use gentle make-up removal products and always use a cleanser before you go to bed. It even helps to wear a facial mask every so often.
Your diet is incredibly important on the impact it has on your skin so ladies gents watch what you eat! Try replacing that white bread, mayo, chicken and bacon sandwich for a wholemeal, chicken and rocket lettuce and ditch the bacon and mayo, as they contain high levels of oils and can clog up the pores and produce spots! Also that "treat" that your giving yourself is becoming a regular appearance, DITCH IT!

Products available:
Personally I find Clearasil a bit to well rounded, I like using products to suit my skin type. I recommend Simple (for the ladies) and Nivea for Men (for well, men) as they have a huge range of products for all types. It's easy on the bank balance and is available at Boots and Superdrugs.
For those of you who want a more reliable skin product, try Kora Organics (by Miranda Kerr) which uses only natural and organic products designed for your skin in mind. Visit www.koraorganics.com/ to check it out yourself.

Obviously these tips aren't always the best but can help, but teens you have to remember that spots are inevitable and its just what happens and eventually we will all grow out of it, follow me on twitter @Emily_Greaves, thanks again, Love Emily x
